Global Capital, together with Benjamin Trisk and Mark Barnes have acquired the business of Exclusive Books from Times Media Group. Exclusive Books is a niche retail business and SAs largest book retail chain by turnover. Exclusive was founded in 1951 by Philip and Pamela George and is today the dominant player in the South African physical trade book market employing a staff compliment of over 800 permanent and contract employees. The Exclusive Books brand has been built over many years to be SAs preferred brand, with its network of stores becoming the go-to destination for consumers of reading and related products. Exclusive has a national presence with 45 stores located primarily in shopping malls and Airports as well as 1 store in Gabarone, Botswana.

Global Capital acquires a 62% equity interest in National Airways Corporation (Pty) Ltd

National Airways Corporation was established in 1946 and over the years has spread its wings to become the largest general aviation company in Africa and one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Imperial Holdings has been the major shareholder in the business since 1999. This transaction concludes the sale of the last aviation asset in the Imperial Holdings portfolio.

Global Capital acquires an equity interest in Process Pipe Company (Pty) Ltd

Process Pipe was established in 1969 by Selwyn Tucker and traded as Process Agencies. In 1975 the company changed its name to Process Pipe Company (Pty) Limited.
